Cardiff City are reportedly keen to boost their midfield options by re-signing Crystal Palace play-maker Jordon Mutch.
According to Skysports, Bluebirds boss Neil Warnock will move for Mutch next month with his loan deal at MLS outfit Vancouver Whitecaps set to expire.
The 27-year-old spent two years at the Cardiff City Stadium between 2012 and 2014, making 57 appearances for the club and helping them to promotion in his first season under Malky Mackay.
After a short spell at Queens Park Rangers, the ex-Birmingham City man finds himself across London at Crystal Palace where he has failed to secure a regular spot.
In fact, he has managed just 18 starts for the Eagles in his three years at Selhurst Park.
Vancouver have the option to make the deal permanent, but are thought to not be interested in doing so.
Warnock has rotated his central midfield options heavily this season, and has also utilised several formations to try and get the best out of his side.
Harry Arter and Victor Camarasa, both on loan, have featured heavily so far this term, with Aron Gunnarsson recently recovering from injury and Joe Ralls also in and out of the side.
